another cam question. Need help with a cam for a 418
I am running a 230/236 with a .591/601 110lsa in my 6.0 thats in my 02. The cam will be placed in the 6.0 for my 92 and the 02 will be getting a brand new 418. I will be using the same heads or I may buy a custom pair from the shop that is building the 418. Just wondering how much cam I should go with. It will be a N/A motor and maybe later on a little N20, but that is only if I can not reach my goal N/A. the truck is only driven on the road maybe 250 miles a month.

kind of off topic but who's assembling the motor??? what dimensions are you using to get those cubes? Are you aware of the oil consumption issues??
with your stall I wouldnt be scared of going in the low-mid 240's for duration and .630 on the lift. Keep your 110 LSA and advance it 2* IMO... should be a string mutha  |

NVM, it's not aimed at you, for another member that had oil consumption issues with the 418 combo because the stroke is just really long for a stock bore

what do you guys think about the Texas speed MS4 cam? Magic Stick V.4 239/242, .649"/.609" Camshaft With Your Choice of Lobe Seperation (111 LSA Standard)

not a fan off anything off the shelf really to be honest... build your own tailor made cam for the same money and have it do exactly what you want...

only reason I ask I can get a used one prettty cheap.
