Default Update on build.

This is an update of the build. Couple of pics of the short block, with one cylinder head, and a ruff cut on the heads. This baby goes in on the 10th of next month. I'm running it with the stock intake and tb for now.

Damn this freaking pics are not showing I dont know what to do. Guess im gonna try pb and see if it works.

HI..N/ALS1, I'm a crazy old fat guy that went crazy with a LQ9 It's in a 2006 GMC Sierra. I was driving it as my daily driver and then decided to go a step farther, open headers, etc. Any way here is what I did.
408 stroker .040 with 11 to 1 diamond pistons. The cam was a comp 224/? and 581/588 lift. I sent it out and had it reground to 238/248 dur and 595/612 lift. It was alot of fun on the street and was no problem. I have a 2800 stall and I wish it would have been a 3600. ( Circle D is the way.) My truck and me wieghed 4280.(without exhaust and a few other extractions.)LOL I've got a turbo 350 for a trans and 4.10's in the back. Oh Yea... It's Carbed. But that ended up being very costly. Cause I deleted the computer also. Your EFI and computer is just fine. Just what ever you go with get a good tune. Pitman or Skeet can give you some great advice there or about any of the guys on here. Remeber ask lots of questions before you jump. It will save you some money. Look at other builds and ask more questions. It's never ending, but alot of fun.
So far I've run 11.80's @ 113 and haven't really got to use the juice yet. Tried a 100 shot but broke the limited slip. Now have a TruTrac. Can't wait for warmer weather. Good luck and My prayers for your dad.

Appreciate it man, Thanks not many poeple have read the part of my dad between 4 forums and the same post. But I cant wait to see what it does, if I still not satisfied with the came I will get it reground. But from damn near stock 5.3 to a .030 bored 6.0 I think I will be plenty satisfied for now. Also I am saving for a 67 Nova, but might have a deal on a true 66 SS Chevy II. The guy doesnt want to sell it but, I think I can twist his arm with some benjamins. Again Thanks from the bottom of my heart.
