Default 6 liter update/head gasket help

well last night i tore my 6.0 down and pulled the bent rod and busted piston, and swapped in the new pair. best i could tell the engine hydro locked? there were no marks on the counter weight of the crank that it looked like wouldve had to have taken the chunk out of the piston skirt so who knows really, but the truck it came out of was a flood victim so im leaning towards hydro lock anyway, on to the good: rod bearings looked great, cylinder walls are primo so on and so forth all is well so anyway all i lack (except for some pics to show you guys) for throwing it back together is a set of head gaskets and an oil pan gasket.

my question for you is this: since im staying n/a for a while with probably a ~100ish shot of nitrous would it be in my best interest to buy a thinner head gasket to bump compression up? if so which gasket will yield what compression ratio? thanks in advance

also do any of you guys replace the little gromets on the knock sensors or do you reuse em? tia again

Is it a LQ9 or LQ4? either way I would go with a set of stock MLS gaskets personally. Lots of good results with them and too many bad stories about others, plus they are fairly inexpensive. If you wanted to raise compression i would sell the 317's and buy a set of LS6 heads. They flow the same but have a 64cc chamber.
