Default 6.0 modifications

To start off hello to everyone. Hadnt been on this site for quite a while. Last time was when I had trouble with my ly6 on my 2005 Silverado. After the struggle I got it running. Runs decent. But now I want more. Nothing extreme. Currently it’s a 6.0 cammed (forgot specs). 3600 yank stall 3.90 gears true trac. Built Tranny. My tuner mentioned the current cam isn’t performing too well on top end and my stall was too “loose”. My plans are new cam, bigger stall and e85. My question is will a Texas speed f-35 cam with a 4K stall work decent? Also will my 255 pump and 42lb injectors be good enough for the e85 or would I need to upgrade ? Yes I’ll be adding the sensor. mod. Thanks In advance. BTW it’s a big heavy crew cab 🐖

So you want a 235/248 cam and a 4K stall in a 6.0 that’s really heavy? IMO that’s too much cam and stall for a crew cab, unless you wanna spin it to 7500rpm

That’s an awful cam for a truck.

If it’s chop you want, you can accomplish that with a much smaller cam on a 110-111 LSA.

A BTR stage 4 truck cam would be better suited or hell, even something in the 220-226 range. That would give you off throttle response and still carry to 6500.

That’s way too much cam, I don’t care what your tuner says. If he thinks that’s a good choice I don’t know what to say that’s constructive. Your really gonna need to balance this, you want a high shift point and still need to maintain bottom end with a crew cab.
