quick question i have a 01 LQ4 and had the 317 heads shaved .030 what might the compression be i know stock its like 9.5:1 and useing stock headset

Normally .030 is good for 1 full point of compression. So you should be around 10.5:1 now.

Ask the machine shop who did the milling. We cannot tell you because the more you mill the more the variable changes so ask the machine shop.
