im def looking for recommendations that would go good with 4.8 flat top Pistons with 5.3 crank and rods, nnbs intake (2010 5.3l intake and tb) and 243 heads (do i need to mill?)

Planning 2500-2800 stall mild towing 373 rear gears

A 212/218 size or slightly larger with that stall speed should be great for a truck you want to drive and have it not be a beach to tune.

The 4.8's like to rev, so if it was shifting at 6,300-6,400rpm that would be good. People take them much higher than that but you aren't looking for 7,000rpm redline shifts in a truck like this.

Tick Performance Turbo Stage 1 Camshaft for 4.8L & 5.3L Engines SKU TPT001TR (215/219 | .613"/.590" | LSA114+3). You could even use it NA until the turbo is installed with good power and drivability.

Keep in mind, even a built 4L60E won't last behind a turbo if you throw any serious boost at it.

Hey how close to NM are you?

I might really be interested in making a deal on those rods and crank with you if the price is right

Yes, you heard that correctly. Someone out there actually wants 4.8 parts
