Trying to figure out cam size for my newly built motor. Plenty of info for cars on stroker cams. Seems like a stroker motor likes more duration. It's my daily driver but want the most I can get for street. Love a choppy idle but who dont. Here are a couple I have found. Yall let me know what your running in your stroked out trucks!
Share the engine details if you want advise, we need to know what heads, what torque converter stall speed etc. What's the max rpm the motor is built to spin? How much does the truck weight? Both of those cams are on the large size for a truck that's daily driven And NA. What's the engine compression ratio.

Going to the 415 from the L92. So ported l92 heads, radial port on intake manifold, forged rotating assembly, 11 to 1 compression I believe, 3600 triple disk yank, long tubes with dual 3 inch all the way back. 4.10 gears. Want the most bang for my buck. Did have 227/239 .623 .613 115lsa when it was a 6.2. Loved that cam. Was reading that stroker makes cam seem small to go a lil bigger. Also it's a 4 door so just under 6000 lbs.
What thickness head gasket are you running? That second cam may actually work pretty good if you were happy with your old one. You were going to have to watch piston to valve clearance I suspect. The second one should be OK, but I would most definitely check it.
If your running an aftermarket piston setup with valve reliefs PTV should not be an issue with either setup. It is always recommended to check. Both camshafts are on the large side for a heavy truck application, but if I had to pick one the second one would be it.
