That's a pretty vague question. Try stating specifics like what you're looking for and what your plans are. And you say shortblock.... well what kind of top end are you planning? Stock? Any cam specs? Stock?

With a further detailed question we can help more accurately.
But FWIW, I've seen some nice stroker shortblocks from TSP and SDPC (both sponsors).

Me thinks you are a bit confused?
HP/TQ output of an engine is dependant on too many factors like compression, heads, intake, exhaust, etc.
A shortblock is a long block minus some parts so both are good for trucks, just depends if you want to buy the parts assembled or seperate.

By the way, NOS is a brand name, N2O (nitrous oxide) is the product.

I think a 408 at 11:1 compression with a moderate cam (~230 duration .600 lift) and ported heads with big valves should do 450/450 at the wheels with the all the supporting mods.

why -15cc pistons? Is there a chance for FI later? What are the specs on that cam?

All in all that's a healthy combo... would perform great in a truck!

Depending on the cam and induction I'd estimate 450-500fwhp. Swap pistons for higher CR and a large cam with a 90/90 or spyder style intake and you'll easily see 520+ fwhp.

If you're going NA boost the compression. Those -15cc dish pistons will take you to around 9:1 I think unless you mill the heads.

Either look for an NA package or call speed and tell'em you want NA pistons and 10.5 or 11:1 compression.

Z06 DREAMING ,,, i'm planning to add M122 magnacharger or Single turbo, but i'm a bit confused which the best cam will work good with those kits. They recommended Low compression if i want to add FI. Thank you very much for your support

TurboBerserker ,,, i'll call texas-speed again and i'll check about NA package.

Thank you very much for your support

If you are going FI *don't* get the NA package. Each option (MP122 or turbo) would want a different cam, so pick that first. The compression target may change too.

Let's do it this way... How much power do you want to make?
