Default 4.8 w/224 cam idle

i should be installing a cam within a month what is the best idle speed for a tr224 112 lsa i'm thinking 750, but i'm just guessing i have a 5-speed and it won't be a daily driver i want it to be choppy but still stay idleing w\o 2 footing it in town

same here 750-700 idle and it idles great.. might need to fool with the fuel for start up to keep it from surging.

i haven't been able to get a good idle on deceleration. idling is fine. i had to unplug the iac sensor to make it not stall out.

try uping the timing in the idle spark advance in drive/in park do it all the way down the table. finally done that to mine and it worked great. 24 degrees give that a try, and see what that does..
