W2W is long gone but you can contact LPE about them.
So i might contact LPE but figured you might be easier to reach first and since this popped after a search id ask, know anything more about these blocks now that you didnt back then in 2010? I picked up a bare block today and sure enough it has 6.0/5.3/4.8 all cast on it..
Mainly would like to know if the cylinder thickness is any bettter or worse im wanting to do a 370 with boost..

I do not, I have have yet to see one in person although I have been looking for one.

I almost bought a complete engine but I couldn't justify the price just to get the block.

What is the casting number on the block?

I believe I spoke with Jason Haines regarding this.

They wouldn't be any worse for boost that's for sure.

Interesting. Looks like the casting date indicates it may have been cast real early on.

I would still like to see some more detailed pictures of one.

Not a bad price for a standard bore block either.

Sorry only 2 pics i took before i wrapped it up and sat it in the corner. Do all iron blocks not have the recess on the top back for the oil galleys, just two holes?

Thanks for the pictures! If you dig it out any time soon I would like some more.

I am not sure what you are referring to when you ask about "the recess on the top back for the oil galleys, just two holes?"

If you're asking if its just 2 oil galley holes in the back of the block, Yes. All the iron blocks are like that.

Yes, All the gen III Iron blocks are like that with just 2 holes.

Only the later LS1 or LS6 aluminum blocks received that pocket.

Default Casting numbers

Does Anyone have block casting numbers for the early block stamped 6.0 4.8 5.3? Also would it be stamped the same on the front drivers side ?
