Exclamation 4.3

im struggling on finding big performance parts for my engine. its a 2005 4.3L v6 in a regular cab short bed chevy silverado. i can only find engine parts for the chevy s 10 so i was wondering if those would fit my 4.3 as well? such as the aem brute force short ram intake. i was also wondering which kind of cam i should get i was looking at comp cams but idk too much about all the ratios and what not a little explnation of what the gear #'s and various ratios in my engine mean would be extremly helpful. i am looking at getting my truck at least 350hp.... is that possible?

thanks alot.

you'd have to do a lot of work to that 4.3 to get it to 350hp... everyone here's gonne tell you to scrap it and drop a 6.0 in its place. I see in your sig, you plan on doing that anyway.. IMO save your pennies and build a stoker for all the cash you'd dump in the V6 and drivetrain to get it where you want it.

Dude in all honesty save your money for a swap! Its really not worth even fukin with the 4.3 ****.If i were you meaning as its an 05 i would trade it in for a 4.8 silvy this way you can mod the hell out of it and when and if you want to swap to a bigger motor all you will have to do is transfer all your mods over! If you incist on keeping this truck save around 6000 and you should have enough for a 6.0 swap with new built tranny, tune, and posi traction with Headers.
