Default 228r cam nitrous friendly?

Is the 228r cam nitrous friendly ?
Want to run 150 shot.
And can someone explain the 114 ?
Let's say compared to a 110 or 112 lobe

5.3 silverado
228/228 cam, 114 lobe
FBO
Cnc heads
102 fast intake
3200/ 6spd

It would respond quite well to nitrous. This link explains how LSA effects performance really well. Technical Specs & Information

Basically, lowering LSA moves powerband down and gives you a choppier idle. Raising the LSA reverses that effect.

True. Camshafts really don't effect small shots of nitrous. A "nitrous" cam shouldn't be spec'd until you're hitting it with 300+ in my opinion. Get a good N/A cam and spray on top of it. It'll eat!

True... But alittle bit of exhaust bias never hurts.

Ehh. Cant find the video where a comp n/a cam out performed 3 comp "nitrous" grinds in every category using the same shot and same engine on every test

Too small LSA will hurt your vacuum and make idle / brakes an issue...or at least it did on my truck

so I should experience major problems with a 237/242 110+6 on my single plane intake then right?????? every application is different. 98% of the trucks on this site are cookie cutter builds (including mine, and sorry if it hurts your feelings) start swapping major components in the top end like heads and intake styles and things change big time. there's nothing special to the bottom end of our trucks that typically spray less than a 150 shot 90% of the time.
