Default 2010 LC9 VVT/DOD delete now no start

i deleted the vvt/dod and installed a tvs1900 on a buddies truck and now it wont start i used a 4x 3 bolt cam gear, and ls3 timing cover and cam sensor. vvt and dod is disabled via hp tuners. its getting fuel ans spark. its not even attempting to start. ive read where people have reused the stock cam sensor and other use the LS3 cam sensor. any ideas?

When I did my delete I used a ls3/ls2 sensor

There's a **** load of tables that need swapped over to be vvt deleted

Look for a bone stock file for a 5.3 that isn't DoD and vvt and swap tables then tune from there

I did this and mines been running last 10k miles boosted

IF everything is mechanically correct, continue to start it and repeat, hopefully a cam performance dtc or related code will appear and that will get you in the right direction.
Double check your cam sensor wiring.

It's my experience that you only need to disable VVT and DoD. Once those are disabled, the modifiers and such will not be used. I've done several cam swapped NNBS trucks that way and it worked just fine for me.

Didnt have to do anything with the wiring. New sensor plugged into the existing harness. The plug for the cam phaser is unused and zip tied out of the way. Was there a wiring change that was supposed to happen that im unaware of?

Nope...As mine was the same simple swap.

You can pull the sensor to see if it's chewed up on the end (doubt it but worth a look)

Did you replace the ground on the passenger front head? How about the ground on the rear of the drivers head? Did you unplug the battery during the swap? Nothing open "power" that i can recall to get hurt by not doing that but maybe a freak accident with a fuse popping
