come to houston i can get a complete lq4 for 1000 bucks guaranteed (less than 100k miles on it pre 07 engines only)

if you're looking for torque you may need to look elsewhere. that cam is made for a lightweight car that doesn't need the torque to get moving. i don't have many suggestions but there are damn good ones out there that will get you more grunt for the same work. M3SRT is running the TR220 in his '07+ silverado. look him up on youtube, the truck is fast on the stock converter. would be better still with a stall.

I highly doubt a Tr220 is going to give more low end grunt than an LS6 cam, even in a 6.0.

i wasn't suggesting it for low end but it would out perform the ls6 across the entire rpm range. looking at some of the 212/218 guys dynographs even those "torquey" cams don't vastly out perform the stock cam below 2500 rpm. and that rpm is where most of your driving is done so that's where its the most noticeable. honestly, the best mod for low end torque for me so far has simply been a tune and gears

Most people claim the 220 cam loses a little down low vs stock, so how do you justify that? You think the ls6 will underperform vs stock down low too? Lol

doesn't take you long to switch over to dick mode does it okie? i have never used the ls6 cam. but reading what other members of this site that have and what they have to say is that it does seem to lose a little to the stock cam. considering its intended use that seems entirely within reason. yes it outperforms stock but does it in the rpm which you constantly use in normal driving situations? to that i'm not even suggesting a cam.

Easy killer, just trying to make a point. He said he wanted to swap it for a little more low end, and you told him to look elsewhere then immediately directed him to the 220. The 220 is almost always used on a 112lsa, the LS6 comes on 117.5 IIRC which broadens the rpm range relative to the 112. Gears will definitely be a bigger improvement, but were talking about cams.
