Default will 16's fit on the rear?

I'm looking for a dirt cheap pair of wheels and mud tires to temporarily use on the rear until it stops flooding job sites, and I'm not sure if the brakes are still too big to fit 16's like they are on 05-13.

16's fit on the rear of my truck with stock NBS brakes... I have a 2003 Single cab short bed with discs all around.

I ran 16" cragar soft 8's in the rear since they had MT drag radials mounted on them. They didn't rub at all. Not sure what backspacing they are but could measure if you need me to.
