Whine at low speeds

It sounds more engine related, it's faint and I don't think most would notice. Only people like us. I don't neccesarily think something is wrong just an observation.

What isnt normal to them.....

Just lots of different stuff to get used to, the trans is the biggest difference to me. When driving a truck I am used to a Built 4L80E so driving a stock 6L80E is a learning curve. I would like the shifts to be faster and firmer as I am used to a hard hitting trans but I dont want to touch the tune with it under warranty.

I am going to get New Era to do a tune warranty or not. I don't think it will do anything but help the longevity.

Be careful with those 6sp tunes. I have heard horror stories about tuning them the. They burn up.

I drove a 6sp auto car today and it was just weird. Not feeling the shifts but watching the tach go up and down. It kinda weirded me out some.

my 010 6l80 had no low gear planetary gear noise,this 014 does almost like they went to a straight cut gear in the low planets.Be interesting if there is a different part number for these new ones

Ditto with my Denali , I've tried both T/H and normal just to see if I could duplicate or hear this slight mechanical sound , mine does not , but you can drive it and listen . I wouldn't worry at all
