I've sat in a couple at the local dealership and I love the interior on them.
My only complaint about the GMCs (that I've seen) is they all have those mini textured fender flares on them... I've yet to see one w/o them?
The 5.3 4x4 crews are pretty damn quick from my test drive... I can't wait to see what a rcsb 5.3 2wd will do

Who else really wants to see another SSS.
Power levels are high enough we could be talking about a truck that runs a 14 flat off the showroom floor... I mean its up 80 HP and ft-lb of torque over the last ones plus it has the added benefit of a 6 speed. The new 5.3 crew cabs damn near keep pace with the last SSS, I'd imagine an extended cab would without a doubt.

I test drove a couple crew cabs the other day and ended up special ordering a RCSB 4x4 5.3L. The trucks really need a tune right off the lot. The A/C kicks out way too easy, and some of the shift points leave the truck hanging for a second before grabbing the next gear. But I have to say they were the most peppy 5.3L trucks I've ever driven in stock form. One had 3.42 gears and one was a Z71 with 3.73. Both were peppy but the 3.73's are of course nicer on a not heavily modified engine.
I was really disappointed in the options available, not many of them seemed worth the price. The Z71 was a loaded up LTZ model, and while they have projector headlights, they are not HID's. The stereos suck, even with the Bose option. Can't even remember all the stuff now but I left there thinking they were high with a window sticker of $46k and 'we can only do $2k off these 2014's cause there's no rebates on them'. Sorry, the market will not bear that for a half ton gas truck. You can get a loaded 3/4ton with diesel upgrade for that.

How much did that set you back and when's the ETA?

They don't have all the pricing for the reg cabs so we just ordered it zero down and no obligation. He said we'll fig pricing when it comes in. I expect to pay like $25k. ETA should be like 6wks.

With the price of these new trucks I don't think I'll ever buy a new truck. Prices are getting ridiculous. Sticker price for a loaded out half ton thats well over 50k is ridiculous. **** em, they can keep it. Good thing is at that price the resale value has to be **** so those of you who want one ought to be able save a good chunk by picking up a year or two old one. Im interested to see what the HDs look like.
