Default Sould i get new shocks?

hey guys ,just installed 2 inch drop shackles and removed the lift block on my 2015 rcsb z71 2wd, it came with rancho shocks be cause of the z71 package , and its almost level but still has a slight rake , im thinking because of the ranchos..... should i get shocks from a non z71 truck,or do i need drop shocks for the 3 inches i took out of it?
any help is appreciated
Thanks.............

Shocks don't affect the ride height, unless they are too long and are bottomed out. They just control/dampen the springs. With 3" of drop you are probably ok with stock shocks. Did you take measurements before lowering it? My 2012 rcsb had 4" of rake, before I lowered it.

thanks for the info, I measured the truck before I lowerd the rear 3 inches, and it had about 4 inches of rake so I did the 3 inch drop and I guess that's why I still have a slight rake, any other options besides a flip kit to get 1 more inch? Sorry for the questions, but I'm not to familiar with suspension. ..
