Tuesday night got some good 55 degree weather here and not a cloud in the sky. Tried several different ways to launch the truck. With a passenger(160lbs), 1/4 tank of e85, DA of 665, and the same exact spot we always do a 0 to 75mph logged pull. Brake stalled, 4wd hi launch, and switching to 2wd right after the launch was 5.52 0 to 60. Stalled to 1400rpm then flashed, 4wd hi, and switching to 2wd right after the launch was 5.57 0 to 60. The final brake stalled, 4wd auto, switched to 2wd right after the launch was 5.47 0 to 60. I will try all three again at the track but right now stalled auto 4wd launch is the quickest in my truck. I would say a decent gain from stock.

The power is obviously off as you said, however, don't forget about the torque multiplication from the torque converter, it's likely a 2.x multiplication, so if your meter is crunching numbers on the 0-60, it may be closer than you think Of course it's only in that 2-3 seconds or so from the initial hit lol.

How's mpg with that converter by the way?

Thanks for your vids and feedback, definitely helpful man.

Glad the videos helped. Always like making them because I could never find good informative videos. Very happy to say no loss in mpg

Great now my wife is gonna be pissed that I won't shut up about getting one lol. The last stalled vehicle I had was a 2000 SS camaro with a 4000 stall and man city mileage went to ****. Doesn't matter above 40mph or so cause the converter is locked anyway, and city mileage already sucks on these trucks so not surprised to see it didn't change much. Having a 6L80 with such a short first gear helps the truck roll out also with less waste/slipping too so that will help over the 4L60.

She's already annoyed that I've had the truck about a month and tune and headers are on the list. It already has a K&N cold air, which by the way I like your setup better, the stock air box modified to pull more air is a great setup, it pulls more cold air than my K&N cold air setup will since yours pulls all air from the fender.
