Default ordered cal tracs....rearend noise in reverse?

so i just ordered a set of caltracs for my truck. the kit for the flip kit trucks, saw another member already had these and liked the look but i also do some drag racing so it should help for dig racing. but also i can now zero out my thrust angle since i can never get it right after my 7" drop. its always like -.10 or posotive .10 degrees. anyways, before my drop kit i noticed that when i am in reverse backing up with the wheel cranked all the way either way i can hear and feel a clunk/bind type noise. im wondering if its my g80 or my leafsprings. or just normal. anyone with a 2014 notice this? i noticed when it was brand new in january but never paid any mind. now i beat the thing and slammed it and do burnouts lol. just wondering if anyone else has this issue

I only went 6 in back, but didn't notice anything like that with or without cal tracs.

I believe there is a problem in the steering rack. There is a bulletin on it. Mine is not dropped and does it. Started out only in reverse, but now it's all the time. I ordered the parts and will get it in the stall Monday or Tuesday to fix.

The bulletin says to jack up the front and turn the wheels lock to lock, if you hear the popping noise, the problem is in the steering rack. I ordered the parts to fix it last week and they are on my work bench. I can't for the life of me remember what GM calls them. They are 2 rubber rings that go inside the rack, once you pull the tie-rod boots off.

Just to clarify, I installed the revised steering gear dampers and fixed the problem.
