Loud squeaky knocking sound
Hey guys, started the truck up one morning and this started. Oil pressure is good. Vacuum is normal, removed serpentine belt, deleted brake pump, and cranked without fuel pump and still makes this sound. Pulled valve covers and didnt see anything out of normal. Could it still be a bent pushrod rubbing with normal vacuum? Maybe flexplate? Any help would be appreciated.

I sounds like it's in the top end since it's a faster knock. This is what mine sounded like the rod bearings 1 and 2 destoryed. You can hear the rod clicking on the crank!!!!!
I think your going to have to tear it apart more. I would take the supercharger off and pull the valley cover to look at the cam.

Yep same.
Well now I have Diamond pistons but unfortunately no boost yet. Rebiulding my trans killed that budget for right now.
LS7 lifters or did you go with something more expensive??

Ls7. Probably gonna go with morel next. Contemplating just removing engine and either putting some rings in for blower or doing the diamond swap. Not looking to make stupid power and having to get lt4 pump. Just more safe. Wasnt able to pull heads last night.
