Intake for 2015 2500 HD manual fan 6.0?
#2
Anyone? All I've found are ones for electric fan trucks, what's it take to convert a 2015 2500hd 6.0 truck to electric fans so the air intake can be upgraded? Better cooling and the decreased drag from removing the manual fan would likely be a help too.

Getting a Tune has some impact on the warranty....not sure if it voids it totally on the drivetrain or not...guess that depends on where you live and your relationship with your dealer.

Interesting they went back with a clutch fan on the new trucks. Idle performance isn't as good as electric fans, but while towing the clutch fan wins hands down.
If you want to get sporty, you could probably make some of the 07-14 fans fit and use one of their stock harness or buy/make one.

Oh, well maybe, I thought they went to electric fans on the 2500s at some point but I could be wrong. If they use the same radiator as the 1500s you could probably make fans from a 1500 fit.

I don't think that they the radiators are the same this one is huge, and from looking it up the coolant capacity for the 2500 looks to be more.
Noone makes a damn intake tube that will work with the manual fan? I just find that extremely hard to believe. All I want is something that's going to get rid of all the ugly/stupid baffles and pick up a little power/mpg if possible, and if I can hear the engine breathing, awesome.

Possible. I just find it next to impossible to believe that no one has tried/had something work and/or fit.
It's like pulling teeth, you'd think that I have the only truck that ever came off the assembly line with this configuration.

Its actually more likely that few people with that config care about putting a CAI on they're truck.
