No valve float shown in the logs and shows no drop in power in the logs also. Truck has just over 12,000 miles on it now probably 5,000 miles with the shift points at 6400. Day to day the truck is only reved to the stock shift points and drove like an old man. It is only reved to 6400 at the track, when doing tuning logs, or from a stop light here and there. If there ends up being any issues like valve float or god forbid valve breakage I will let you guys know.

What are you logging with?

HP Tuners. Klug Performance who tuned my truck is a close personal friend so whenever I go to the track he goes with or when we hang out he will hook up his laptop and just see how the truck is doing. Perks of having a tuner for a friend.

Ahh yeah, same as me.

Nice. My buddy has been using it for 12 years now. Great software and support with them.

These numbers are fk’n nuts for tune only!!!

Is this normal? I have to look up Klug tuning. I had an 08 RCSB tuned by diablew that didn’t even come close to these numbers.

im now in the market for a 2014+ SilverAdo 5.3 and this has me pretty excited

The direct injected stuff is nothing like an LS especially with a 5.3. Klug tuned my buddies 14 along with some changes I have made since and it's night and day over a stock truck. Pretty decent for just removing some limiters and adding timing lol. I am sure there is more in it if a guy actually corrected the VE table.

I don’t see many time slips out there for bolt on 5.3 EcoTec Sierra’s and silverados. Why doesn’t Klug have a website with prices.

ive seem some vids of the diablew tuned 5.3 EcoTec around.. and they shift 5500 1-2 then 5700 2-3... he had my 5.3 LS set up the same way FML ... I went back to a canned diablo tune and set all my shifts to zero torque management and 6000rpm and I ran 1.5 tenths quicker than diablew tune.

Klug needs to advertise more. I’d run his tune if I could get numbers like yours! Thanks for sharing

Truck is getting a Circle D converter put in today. I'll be posting a 0-100 video once that is installed. I actually lowered my shift points to 6100 rpm and I still have 75% torque management enabled. After more testing the truck was only .05 quicker 0-60 and 0-80 with the extra 300rpm. Truck with a passenger was pulling off 5.60 0 to 60 times with a passenger on a 39 degree night. Just not worth the extra strain on the motor and transmission for half a tenth.

Yeah best way to get a hold of him is via Facebook.

Great thread with a lot of useful info. Def seems like when you switch from 4x4 to 2wd at WOT, it actually does it. It chirps the tires on the 1-2 shift, no way in hell it would do that in 4x4. Very Very interesting and a difference from NNBS.

Very smart and safe to log the max rpm and decide to lower it 300 rpm. Seems like you guys really have this figured out nicely.

What exact converter did you choose?

It does switch and you can feel a significant difference is power too. It switches pretty much the second you turn the dial, even though the DIC says “switching to 2wd” or whatever for 2-3 seconds.
