Default Hi-Ram intake manifold (Gen V LT1)

*disclaimer: i am not super knowledgeable on this topic and the very start of this thread may already be incorrect lol*

Was combing around, and it appears Holly makes a high rise EFI intake for the Gen V LT1?

if this is correct, has anyone installed one? Will it fit on the 5.3?

Interesting they add provisions for port EFI. I wonder if anyone has a controller that works with the factory DI system

so, basically you can run your stock style injection... or switch to port injection like the old days? is that correct?

I think the idea would be to run both. I think...

It would be really cool to port inject meth or something like that... hmmm

also check this youtube video by rx

yeah it's a problem in every direct injection engine when valves have nothing to clean them up , no fuel will reach them as is , all fuel is in the chamber so every oil vabor and what not that is in oem pcv will get to your valves when recycled back to tp and intake manifold .

i am actually waiting for any solution to reduced it to minimum all i can think of is catch can a good one and a meth kit otherwise it's a top end remove and cleaning which is expensive if done at any dealer even if it's done by who owns thus type of engine it's hassle for spare parts and time .

was trying to fish a bore scope through the intake to get a look at my valves. was not successful.....

but did manage to fist **** my manifold. full of gunk and relatively clean oil, whole thing was soaked. i can only imagine what my valves are looking like now at almost 50K miles...

have noticed a loss of MPGs lately
