I don't think any of that works. But I'm fixing to go try it. I fold my mirrors by holding the button. I believe you can have mirrors or windows but I don't think both. If so it must be a newer model thing. My 14 only has the folding mirror option and you just hold lock or unlock to make them go in and out.

Edit: just tried it, hitting the buttons 3 or 4 times did nothing but make it lock or unlock over and over.

You have to enable the auto down window function in the dash/radio. On my 2016 you just unlock it once and then press and hold and it will auto down all 4 windows. You can also do the auto defrost stuff or auto seat heaters but I leave most of that stuff off.

Mine has the navigation feature but I won't pay for that stupid onstar stuff. It's like $30-40 a month to have the option for navigation.
Right, remote start is click lock one time then hold start button.

As for the cooling and heating mine will run the a/c and the a/c seats when it's super hot, same for the heat and heated seats when it's super cold. I like that **** so I use it. What tripped me out when I first got mine was the rear defrost button was on every damn time I started it and I thought it had a problem. But no, it was just January, it stopped doing that once it warmed up then it came back last month when it got real cold.

As for the other stuff. I have navigation and I don't pay for onstar. I think the nav is part of the XM radio. FOR SURE the weather is through XM, and I think the nav may be part of that side of the XM. XM has music, and weather. The music is $20 a month and the weather is $1.99

I didn't check to see if I lost navigation when I let the XM lapse. I only renewed the XM cause they had a special for 6 months for $30. But when they turned it back on my weather deal was gone and had to call and add it back on. But through all of this I've had navigation and never paid anything to onstar or had a subscription nothing.

Yeah it's a bit different than the old gen 3 and 4 stuff. My fuel savings pays part of my payment.

I had to look up the XM stuff, it does show that they offer a traffic and weather feature at a small cost with that infotainment system. I'm sure with some radio plans it's an included feature.

I don't know how to get it for free, it just says I need onstar to make it work again.

If I can get just the Nav/traffic through XM I may do that because I don't really listen or need 100+ XM radio channels.

It's a separate deal from the music. Not part of the plan. I have both plans. Two separate deals.

BTW not sure if I ever told you but I love your avatar. I hope to be able to see the book of mormon some day. But each time I checked it's several hundred dollars for a ticket, or was 300 for 2 tickets, don't recall. Either way holy ****, it's expensive to go.

Yeah best I can tell my nav is just there, doesn't seem to be part of anything.

I have the big hoopla infotainment system with bose etc. Not sure the exact names for which is which.

I gotcha, you installed a different OS to make it all work.

Upon further looking the traffic through XM radio is additional to the radio stuff. So it says for me it's $60 a year for the radio plus the $48 for a year of navigation/traffic through the factory infotainment system plus taxes/fee. Something to think about but I only drive my truck like 5-6k miles a year.
