I pretty much live right off 40 but interstate 40 and interstate 85 merge about 30 mins from my house and it always wants to send me down 85 which takes me way out of the way. It did the same thang when I went to the beach this summer. It tried to take me down 85 and I have never even gone close to 85 in 20 years of driving to the beach.

I really don't use mine because I rarely leave my home city so I don't really need it. But I will say I noticed a huge difference in my Iphone maps and my wife's android maps, hers always chooses the absolute shittiest route possible.

That being said, different maps definitely find different routes and rarely pick the one you'll feel is best.

On my old G8 you lock it twice and hold the start button. But it was an 09 and maybe they changed the procedure since then

The remote start is just lock once and hold the remote start button for 2-3 seconds.

You have to enable the auto down window function in the dash/radio. On my 2016 you just unlock it once and then press and hold and it will auto down all 4 windows. You can also do the auto defrost stuff or auto seat heaters but I leave most of that stuff off.

Mine has the navigation feature but I won't pay for that stupid onstar stuff. It's like $30-40 a month to have the option for navigation.
