last 50 miles im now getting 16.5 city and 30.9 highway mpg with no grade. i get 26 mpg when there are hills,keep it under 65 and watch the mpg gauge like a hawk

use only mobile 91-93 octane fuel,

These trucks burn a lot of gas when they need to accelerate all that weight, but they are efficient at maintaining speed.

I think the general consensus is 11-12mpg in a real city environment and like 22-23 mpg with cruise on 75mph. Crazy how different it is.

If you anctually maintain 55mph, its like 27mpg on a flat surface.

That's what I'm getting on my 6.2 and all the posts of seen are relatively the same regardless of motor.

I pretty much stay at 13.5 in the city but that's always loaded for work at 6k lbs.

2016 ccsb 2wd. 5.3L 3.42. Combined i'm getting 19.3 never done any just city driving. hwy i've seen 22 and better.

lifetime average of my 2014 when I traded it in with almost 60k on the clock was just over 20 mpg, granted I babied her most of the time, but I treated her like a **** a fair amount also.

I actually I ordered it that way thinking I would not molest it as I have! Crazy Right?!!!! BTW I can set up ring and pinions myself so that's not a biggie at all.
