There are multiple brands and it isn’t just for outboards either. This is pretty much what seafoam does as well. The Yamaha stuff is really good, you just add it to your fuel and drive it like normal unless you need to shock it. I think you need to shock yours or do the gm stuff thru the fuel system.

Made it home while keeping an eagle eye on the oil level, which caught at half a quart low per 700 miles. Seems that if I wind it out a little here and there oil consumption is reduced.................

Update, took the truck in for an oil change and a once over- while down there they found the oil cooler lines were leaking and the service writer droned on about how this is like almost a wear part that regularly goes. Anyhow- under warranty the lines were replaces and I'm all good.........
