Exactly! I believe I got 7k off my 2011 when it was new.

Truck prices are higher and the rebates are essentially zero.

There is not many rebates on the 6.2 trucks. There should be consumer cash, a little bonus cash, and farm bureau cash, if you have it. The higher you go in luxury the less rebates you get. There are a few, but the v6 trucks have alot more.

The dealer should do a dealer trade to get you what you want. I know we will, if it's out there. I'm don't sell, but I'm a technician and most of sales and the General Manger are my friends, so I hear all about that stuff. My wife is also the comptroller for the dealership.

I don't really want the 6.2L, I am just having a hard time finding a truck with what I want, within 300 miles. I want the All Terrain so I can get the body color bumpers, which is apparently hard to find.

I'm about to give up, these trucks sticker for almost $50k and then they give you $750-2500 in rebates...that doesn't even cover half of the tax...

My only knock on the 6.2 is that they are not e85 capable. There goes the "room" for 93 and boost. I've been looking into these trucks for a while and when buying a 45k+ truck the extra 2k for the monster 6.2 seems like a no brainer

I wont be modifying this truck at all, so I don't have an issue with the e85.

I'm just trying to decide if I wait, will the rebates increase, or is GM going to be tight and then the 2015's will come out and those wont have anything for rebates. Plus my trade in value will continue to slowly decline.

Right. Should I keep double paying on mine to trade it in ASAP or drag it out for the 2015 trucks?

Anyone here work for a dealership? Or is there a way to see what rebates this truck qualifies for? I'm wondering if my local dealership isn't telling me "every" rebate it might qualify for. I don't want to call on it, because lets face it, then that dealer will never do a dealer trade if I pull the trigger. I already have my local dealer set on a good price for my trade.
I get just as good of MPG in my 6.2 all terrain ad the 5.3 guys get. I managed 22 mpg on my trip from Colorado to California, over 3-4 mountain passes.

get the 6.2, totally worth it!
my 6.2 is getting an edelbrock supercharger installed as we speak! its at their facility in Torrance ca. I hope to have it back in a few weeks.

I guess I should have been paying more attention to previous years, but with the 2015's coming in 2-3 months, I would "think" rebates would increase on the '14's but with the rebates so low now, I'm not sure what to believe anymore!

Are you sure cause that sucks, my blown 5.3 with e85 pulls like a frieght train now. Had fun putting all the diesels to shame, a few mustangs also.

Just picked up a 14 Sierra All Terrain and the dealer gave me really good money for my 08 Sierra. Truck is also an SLT with leather and all the goodies. Sticker was almost 54 and I got over 8k off of it. I dropped in the K&N from my 08 and took it to the track this weekend to do some HPT logs. Stock other than the filter and the driver demand mod it was a pig but conditions were not in our favor either. It ran a 16.35 leaving it in drive and leaving it in drive. 4X4 with 20" wheels and a 3.42 gear. This is a 5.3 truck and I love it. No complaints about my 08 which still had the factory front rotors and pads on it but this truck is very nice.
