"chevy shake" fix
I've read about this, thought it was the 91 freeway but it looks like i do have it. I've read its the driveshaft, tires, the axle shafts, the housing, axle mounting faces. which one is it?

80% of the time it's tires

LMAO..... I took 90% of the shake out with a trueing of the driveshaft and a tad more out by chucking the axles in my lathe and turning the flange. Smooth as glass all the way to 140 mph.

Axles + lathe really?

Currently in the lemon law process. Mines dealer has tried 5 times. Still no fix.

Someone I know had this problem and it ended up being the convertor causing the shaking

Sold the truck for a tidy sum to some schmuck through dealer auction in Washington State. Never know..... one of you now could buy my old lemon.. and being a 6.2 double cab it has some curb appeal. That fixed my "chevy shake" forever.

For my 2016 silverado cutting the drive shaft 1.75" fixed it about 80%....my 2016 Denali sierra zero shakes.
