There's also info on moving a purge canister(?) and extending some wiring. Wish the two guys that did this would show up and clarify a few things.

OK, so I see what the additional mod is for moving the wiring connector and tube for the purge canister from the driver side to the passenger side.

One new thing I noticed is that both people that have done this, have installed the throttle body upside down. That helps to not have to jack with that connector getting moved from the passenger side to the driver side, but would there be any issues with the TB being installed upside down?

One other thing, if you don't have a catch can, you'll need a new crankcase vent tube that attaches to the PCV valve, PN 12629757.

A guy on gm-trucks dyno tested it on his 6.2, very little gains over the l86 IM. I actually called him out on it considering the only difference between the l86 and the lt1 was the intake and exhaust, I figured for sure there would be some gains. He proved it.

L86 manifold is the way to go it’s actually pretty good, or get an lt1 manifold ported by “pray” on camaro forums, or an msd.

Stock Lt1 IM not worth the hassle. Stock restrictions are the intake before the manifold and the exhaust manifold.

It's a two inch long fitting angled at a 45. It's the easier way rather then drilling and tapping a pipe plug in
do you have all the part numbers for this swap ?

Also you will not be able to use your truck foam isolator between the valley and manifold. You have to use the C7 one. At least on the 5.3
A few laying around you say...
