Buyers Remorse...
#1
Hi folks,
Bought a 2015 Double-cab 2wd 5.3 w/3.08 truck.
Wishing I had purchased a RCSB 5.3 4x4 w/3.42 truck...
Working with the dealership to trade my NEW truck back in. Looking at a significant loss...
Anyone ever make the same mistake?

Double cab to reg cab. I've got a 68C10 and regretting not getting reg cab. Also better gear ratio, 4x4, and E85 capability. My current truck has 308s and does not have the $100 option for E85. Guess 2015 its an option now...

May just try to sell truck privately to minimize losses. Going to go into the dealer on Weds to see what can be done by them. If its not reasonable, will be creating an autotrader listing + CL + a few GM forum site FS threads lol

Why not just look into a new rear gear and tune? Around $1000 (give or take obviously) you can get the gear you want and have a tuned truck that should run like a raped ape.... I know what you mean on the buyers remorse, i just traded a cruze in and had to roll an extra $4k into the new loan for the silvy. This baby isn't going anywhere any time soon.

Chevrolet.com says only a 230 difference in the two so with a tune it can still run 13's. 5102 2wd vs 4872 for the RC 4x4. I wouldn't take too much of a beating. You can easily make that up and pay it down for a couple years and by then something even better will be available. Love the one you're with?

No protection laws for buyers remorse unfortunately. You may be able to get them to cut you a deal. Remember the tax savings of trading the truck vs selling it outright, and take that into consideration.
