Btr 220 cam stock converter

I'm getting a btr 220 cam installed in my 2017 6.2 only other mod really is long tube headers is btr 220 cam too big for stock converter I called btr and this is what the guy i spoke to suggested after hearing on a few you tube videos I was sold on it but real question is how will it be with stock converter guy on phone said good tune and I'll be fine I don't tow much maybe if that a few times a year truck is a daily driver I don't off road it much either just looking to get the most bang for the buck since a lifter failed and stock cam is junk and need to swap also doing a dod delete how will this cam run and be on stock converter

I'm not sure on rear axle ratio i just assumed they were 3.42 axle is stock tires are 35's tho lol I when I called btr the guy on the phone recommended it even with my tire size

You just might find out it doesnt like to hold 6th gear to easy after the cam.
See what gear ratios you have. I dont remember where 2017s hide their RPO codes. They use to be in the glovebox. GU6 is 3.42s

I wouldn't be afraid of running that cam in a 6.2 with a 6l transmission. a good tune will be key. Worst case, if it is terrible stick something small into it like a 2,600 stall. You'll barely notice the difference but the engine will get up into rpm a little easier.

guys cam is in tune is in truck is a beast although power band has shifted to the right up 500 to700 rpm which was expect tune the transmission truck feels totally different only have about 140 mile on it with current set and im loving it
