Default Anyone got a tune only done?

I'm thinking of getting my truck tuned for more performance and better shifting, and i'm curious who else has done just a tune and if it was worth it.

pic of my truck for attention lol

There is more than enough people on this forum who have said that the 6L80e is tremendously under-tuned do to the amount of torque management built in from the factory tune.

Find a reputable tuner. Done right, it will be night and day. After the tune, mine shifted much better, and had the punch I was looking for. I would imagine on a regular-cab it would be even better due to the weight savings had.

Beautiful truck by the way.

I know it's been asked a couple of times and I may have missed the answer but what is the offset on your wheels?

i got mine tuned a week after i brought her home from the dealership and it was a good decision imo, he turned off the DOD so no more switch cylinder modes and the trans shifts soooo much better. The truck is a 15 sierra ccsb 4x4 with 3.42 gears on 20s.. before tune wouldnt break the tires loose at all, now it chirps them going into 2nd and pulls hard. weighed it on my scaled and came in at 5800lbs. Not bad for a heavy truck. So yes, find a reputable tuner and tune it as long as you dont care about voiding warranty.
