As far as we know that may mean a 4cyl is in store. It's in the Camaro, Mustang has it too. They're making good hp and tq. Why not in a pickup as well? Especially with the ever tightening CAFE standards, small boosted motors are taking over, and eco diesel stuff. So wouldn't be surprised if one or both of those are options to come.

I bet the 5.3 will be the most common option and probably remain mostly unchanged.

A 6.2 RCSB would be one bad bitch though.

Great avatar btw, one of the best movies ever.

The GMC looks really nice, the Chevy looks like absolute dog **** IMO.

I miss my 04 but the refinement of the 14+ is light years beyond any truck GM has ever built, i'm really curious about the interiors.

Interior design is similar to the 2014+ on the interior with updated clusters, info center and HVAC.

The 5.3 and 6.2 will be a new generation of engine I guess with improved power and functions for fuel mileage and for sure will be the bulk seller like you say.

Extremely disappointed in the new model. Interior looks awful.

Have yet to see anything innovative compared to Ford.

The only reason they changed body style was to add a bunch of worthless aluminium. Doors, hood, and tailgate for sure. After all the commercial bashing Ford for it. They did leave the inside of the box steel for sure so they don't look like complete morons. Gmc looks terrible all rounded like that but eventually we'll get used to it.

I haven't liked the trend of making the lower part of the body (below window line) so damn tall. It just looks weird. Looks like they're trying to make the truck look "tough" but it just looks bloated to me.

The size/shape difference of the 1988-1998 models vs. the 1999 redesign is when GM started into that trend and it's just got worse ever since. It took me forever to like the 1999-up trucks...and I still look at them compared to older ones and go damn, these got fat.

I would absolutely love to see some retro truck designs similar to the direction the pony/muscle cars took.
