Yep... I don't think the truck was having the issue until the 24s. Even then, the issue is isolated to the first WOT 1-2 shift happens after start up, and at that it only happens some of the time. Everywhere else it shifts fine. I am anxious to see how much better it will drive with some trans tuning!

Either way its going back to have the TCM unlocked and tuned when it gets its new driveshaft. Im also kicking around a converter? Has anyone done one of the new Circle D converters on the 8L90?

 

Once the tuning is right ,it is possible its a whole new beast.Dont know of any truck builds with 8sp turbo with converter.On another forum a guy named dirt daddy modded out a 6.2 8sp with a whipple ,he did a converter and I dont know what the stall was but it was tricky to tune trans for it,it took a lot of time he reported
