Also remember you have a FPCM (fuel pump control module). Is it turning over or just doing the click-click thing?

Another thing, the 14-15-16's have an issue where the BCM can cause a no-start issue and a reprogram of the BCM is needed to fix it.

Makes you wish it was dual points or Hei and a mechanical fuel pump lol! No telling how much it will cost if they don't warranty it!

Well after you set the whipple on you have to set the spec on the skippy pump.If you did that and when you plumbed the intercooler and pump, did you set the pressure on the coo coo valve??? within 100 heat cycles either might trigger the fuel cut off shut down.

Just say'n

After 2 days dealer Classic GMC in Arlington just called and said they would have to start by reflashing the emc or they cant proceed. He also said it had multiple performance codes, transmission codes, fuel control module I think and some other crap. I figured they could reflash it to diagnose it long as they don't go into boost wouldn't it be ok just there in the shop to check it out? He said GM would probably void the warranty anyway if they proceed.

Hey Bud.
Just so we understand, you have whipples tune in it? did you send it out or did they send you a loaded handheld? did it flash the BCM also?
I gather it did not, but you used your HP tuner to mod the BCM,is this correct?
kind of a half breed but its been fine for quite some time?

Yep. I loaded the Whipple tune via the SCT handheld and then downloaded to HP so I could save it and make some changes if needed. I'm definitely NOT a tuner but it didn't change anything but the engine and trans far as I know. I then increased the shift points ~ 200 rpm but otherwise left it alone. A lot more coming though (within reason lol). Think it'll run easy 7.90s or better when I change the pulley and tune. Dealer told me they couldn't even plug into it without voiding the warranty from GM. Taking it to a trusted mechanic to get past this, then pulley down at the performance shop and tune!
