Default 2014 dash rattle

Anyone else's interior start to rattle? my truck hit 5k a couple of weeks ago and now there is a significant rattle coming right from the faceplate that surronds to speedometer. if pushed on it while driving and the noise goes away. i guess the suspension settled finally and the lack of care on nyc streets has finally took its toll on the truck. id hate to bring it to the dealer to have the dash taken apart as i feel this can only lead to how my 00 sierra used to sound. anyone else with this problem? i quick google search netted guys complaining of the passnger side hvac cover rattling and the mudflap but this is striclty drivers side on mine.

Yes... my driver's side has a rattle and it's driving me crazy. Mine doesn't appear to be around the gauge cluster though, mine sounds like it's beyond there and more towards the speaker, back of the dash. I'm going to take mine in and see if they can fix it. It doesn't do it all the time, seems temp related, so it may be a cat and mouse game.

i've heard that the weatherstripping near the windshield has to be replaced near the back of the dash. or that the factory didn't install enough stripping near that area you're describing. its been nothing but cold here in NYC since i bought the truck in november until ow, so i cant really say that its temrature related. my guess is if i can find out how to take the dash apart ill remove the face add some stripping to the back of it and put it back together. not like thats going to happen here anytime soon, tempratures are still in the 30's here

I've heard a rattle in mine since it hit over 1k. It comes and goes. I just thought I was being paranoid.

Did a little more investigating today, turns out it's the bottom panel below the steering wheel I'm going to take it off and add some stripping behind it. Hopefully that fixes it.

I have started noticing a small rattle in the trim piece under the rear window (had the same rattle in my 2001 Silverado after removing stock exhaust... guess it's a resonance issue.

Haha I've got THAT rattle/squeak too! It only makes noise when you barely turn the steering wheel back and forth. It's actually kind of hard to explain because if you turn the steering wheel as if you were pulling into a parking space or making a turn from an intersection it makes no noise. But going straight down a road that has alot of kerf to it and you have to slightly turn the wheel to stay straight it drives you crazy with the rattle/squeak. The rattle in the back portion of my dash comes and goes, on the warmer days we've had I haven't noticed it but on the colder days it rattles. I'm thinking maybe the plastic/double sided tape/etc. is slightly expanding when it's warm and tightens up.

Once it's warm enough over here I'm going to take it off and add some stripping to the back to it. Hopefully that's it. I would love to ditch the stock shocks for some bilsteins like I had on my 00 sierra, for 200k miles you'd swear it was new.
