Default 2.5 leveling kit or 3.25-3.75 combo lift

I am looking at leveling/lifting my truck in the near future and know nothing about lifting a truck. My truck is a 2wd and I was going to go with the rough country 2.5 leveling kit to tuck in a set of 305/55/20's, but noticed on their website they also have a combo lift up to a 3.75 total. I will be staying with my stock 20in. rims.

Is there any benefit going to a 3.25 or higher? could I fit a 295/60/20 with the larger lift?

Will the higher lift cause any major issues down the road that the leveling kit won't also cause like ball joints etc...

I have put the rough country lift on the new body style trucks since they first came out this year. It's really straight forward and no real stress on other parts. I have not done the 3.5 kit but I think you have to address the rear if you go that high in the front. The kit should come with all the parts needed. The fender wells on the new trucks are alot bigger, do they clear tires alot better. You should be ok, with that tire size.

Bit-what do you mean address the rear? I'm guessing gears?

After looking around I really want to go with a 295/60/20 terra grapplers which is like a 34.4 inch tire. I'm guessing the 2.5 level kit won't work with this but you never know-anyone try? I don't mind trimming the truck but if just a little bit higher lift will fit the tire and still keep good geometry on the front suspension I will have no problem paying more money.

No, I mean with the taller kit in front it will sit higher in the front. It should come with parts to get the rear back level.

Off the top of my head, I can't remember which kit we use, I think it's the 2.75 one.

Ok. The combo kit is a leveling kit with 1.25 body lift spacers. So rough country you can combine the 2.0 or the 2.5 leveling kit to the 1.25 body spacer.

I drive 99.9% highway/city and have flat land everywhere. I just wonder about the geometry with anything higher than the 2.5- since it is a new kit they have out.

ReadyLift SKU 66-3085

This is the kit I've installed a bunch off. My apologies for talking about rough country. I have done a few of there leveling kits on 2500 and 3500s.

This kit will sit the truck perfectly level and ride like stock.
