16' Crewcab 6.2 all stock 1/4 mile best today
#11
Well I finally hit 13s before the end of the year, the 60ft is where it helped me get it for sure. Had a nice 50* day at the track and I was able to let the truck cool off for an hour before my next test run. It def paid off, I wanted 13s before i tear into it this winter for the Whipple and many other parts I have for it.

Bad F'n *** that a bone stock truck can run 13's. I don't know how old you are but I'm 39 and up until the last handful of years I would have never thought a stock truck would run 13's, hell even 15's
Congrats man.
Oh does this truck have anything done at all? Even a little tune? Air filter? Anything that would make it go a little faster?

Thanks guys!! Never ever thought it would be that fast. Its stock down to the factory air filter and box. The only thing I had my tuner tune out was the "dead throttle pedal" off idle and had him raise the top speed cutoff to over 100 bc it would fall on its face at near the top of the track. I have the flex sensor to convert it and activate e85 but ran out of time w local tracks this year to test how fast it would go w e85

Just crazy that's it stock as far as anything making it go faster, well hell it's slower because of the 22's!!.
My wife will hate you because I've already worn her out about getting a 6.2 to swap in my truck. This just really pushes that forward even more.
Imagine what it'll do on a real tune as is, then a real tune and e85. Damn..
My truck picked up a ton from just having the shift point raised to 6k. But i'm a 6 speed too. I also had the dead *** pedal fixed, it's a must on these trucks.

That's awesome would of never guessed you could pull off a 13. I wish I had the 6.2 lol. This motivates me to get to the track in my 5.3 to see what it gots with bolt-ons before I boost it.

Update
As of 9-4-20 the truck went a lil deeper into the 13s w a 13.78 at 99.78, I was mad I didn't hit 100mph!
Truck is still all stock except Corsa catback and I converted it to E85. Tune wise my tuner raised my shift points to 6200 which helped alot also.
