ZO6 Calipers

Has anyone tried to put C6 ZO6 calipers on thier ride? The front are 6 piston and rear 4. Should be a good upgrade. If this is an option, I would use something besides the stock rotors.

the Z's multiple padlet design is also very rough on pads as well....they have major taper issues with track use on vettes...to the point most guys that track their Z's switch to aftermarket calipers with a single pad design.

also the caliper conversion on a C5 vette usually ran about 1200-1500 in parts alone (new online dealer parts houses).....for that price point I would personally spend a few bucks extra and try aftermarket off the bat.

if you're looking for more stopping, why not go with better compound pads with your current setup

get something like BAER , Wilwood or maybe stoptech , not to mention brembo .

here's a link for you, older chassis but i think still applies.
the caliper mounting bolts seem to the the same spacing on the trucks as the z06
