Default yank ss3600

i have a 2008 rcsb 2 wd silverado l76 cam headers 411 gears etc its on a yank ss 3600 that came out of ls1 camaro.. well my issue is that when i go to the track. it locks at 98 mph at wot... has anyone encounter an issue like this? my tuner cant keep it open...

No one has a issue locking up? Fwy runs?

Your tuner can't keep it from locking?? That doesn't sound right.

I assume this is a 4L60e right? Its not good for your tranny OR your converter to be locking at WOT... I'd be a little concerned for the life of both if that happens too many times.

What software does your tuner use?

I been driving the truck like this. Since last year thought it was normal. under regular driving it locks up witch is normal... but at wot around 98mph it automatically locks. its still pulling just not at full potential.. someone told me its a common problem on the nnbs . tunning is doen with efi live.i have a different tuner now.. but it still did it with black bear tune...

Yea I'm not concerned about it while normal driving, but I think I would avoid the 98 MPH mark under full throttle until you get that sorted out. Last thing you wanna do is fry the clutch in the converter and have to pull it out. That thing isn't designed to be able to do that.

Its in the tune....mine wont lock over 50% throttle

^ Those converters dont tend to have those kind of issues from manufacturer.
