Are you sure the springs are seated properly?

yeah, thats the one thing that comes to my mind....
when I did my front, I had to rotate the coils a little after they were assembled with the strut, but only because the studs on the top wouldn't line up with the holes in the strut pockets.... but I didnt have any height issues....
damn man, I dont know what it could be other than what jb1 said...

figure it out yet justin?, im curious to see what it was.

the RST came with the same Ground Force kit also

He bought a springtech kit...the ground force kit pictured is mine, plus the 07-08's have struts so the coil spirng install is totally different.


did you align the upper and lower strut spring mounts?
did you trim the strut bump stop?
how did you install the spring?...small end down or up?
did you torque the strut shaft retaining nut to 37ft/lbs?

Its just gotta be something with the coils

trim bumpstops, eh? I didnt trim mine, and I haven't had any problems....

Yea, the coils were installed correctly...not my 1st rodeo lol. Im guessing they are for a heavier load. Im just going to cut a coil for now.

Its an internal bumpstop...kinda white plastic piece you see when you take that boot off the strut. Thats what my GF instr say to do.

It was just a shot...Im grasping at straws here

I got the coils back out right now to cut. We will see how this goes...
