Default Window tint probs.....

I just got my windows tinted by DigiTint. I had their Nano film installed, I work at a dealership so it only cost me about $90. Well, I have a problem with the felt trim in the front doors, when I roll the windows all the way down and then up, the felt wants to roll up with the window and gets hung up. Then the window doesnt want to go down, etc. I've removed both door panels and swaped window felts, tried to re-size the felt, clean the windows (yes with tint safe cleaner). I'm running out of ideas, anyone else have this problem?

I tinted my windows, and it did the same thing. Try flipping the felt/rubber upside-down. It looks like it does back in the way it is, but it's probably in the wrong way.

Sounds to me like the window felt is "tucked" under, done alot when the roll-up windows are done. Might need to "un-tuck" the window trim, maybe just run it back by the place that did your windows and have them do it for you.

i think you guys need to reread his post, he never said anything about the tint wanting to roll up when the window moves, hes talking about the little rubber strips that come in contact with the window which has nothing to do with how long u wait to roll ur windows down after tinting..

Before the local law enforcement made me remove my tint, I had similar issues. My biggest issue was how slow my windows rolled back up. Anyways, what I did about it was apply a light coating of silicone spray lube to the vertical felts. Don't put anything on the horizontal ones.
