Question Will this drop kit work?

Ok so I have decided to go against the grain and lower yes lower my 4x4. Why well Since I was twelve and my dad dropped his 97 ext cab 2wd, I've been in love with lowered trucks.

Secondly I bought my truck for cheap and I mean cheap! How cheap I bought it used with 15k miles for 20 grand ok. I was looking for a 2wd but couldn't pass up the deal I got. I mean come on my truck has every option available in 07 so any way on to my question.

Will this kit work on a 4wd?

http://www.stylintrucks.com/part.asp...&partid=524173

Or are the 4wd spindles alot different than the 2wd? I know my suspension is struts with coils so I dont see why it wouldnt work. McGaughys make a 2/4 drop for the 4wd so im guessing this kit is just a flip rear and coils along with the spindles.

SO before everyone starts bashing on lowering a 4wd get over it I've made up my mind!

Thanks guys hope you can help

there are no difference in spindles from 2wd or 4wd, however you cannot lower a 4x4 more than 2" up front due to the CV. I have seen some lower 3" up front but it is not recommended.

what he said.
I lowered my 08 and 10 4wds 2/3.
which is enough to notice but they don't look "low"
just different

Slam it I did it and love it. Handles like a slot car, launch in 4x and no wasting time worrying about tire spin. I did a 2 4 on my truck but it's an old body 07.

So if the knuckles are the same I can run that kit. The only worry now would be the spring rates of the drop coils. I mean they have to be "tuned" for a 2wd drive front end so no front diff right?

I beleive a 4" front drop will tear the front cv shafts up on your truck in a very short time.

Could I just leave the half shafts out of the truck?
I mean to be completely honest I've owned the truck two years now in april and I have use the 4 wheel drive once.
