the assassin bars seem very nice. more attention to detail then cal trac's (not that that makes it work better) check out yellowbullet forums and see what guys are saying about them. iirc there was a guy shooting for 1.1x 60ft on leaf springs, not in a truck though

Then call Bell Tech, I'm sure they have some ideas on what you could do.

I bought those spring clamps in 2 1/2 inch and i went to put them on without luck. Seems a 2 3/4 would have worked better but i don't know if they are available. I hammered the u bolt onto the springs and the clamp wouldn't fit so i guess ill have to drill them out.

I just made my own leaf clamps with two plates and two bolts per side. drilled'em out proper width. Also just put in some thin elastomer pucks between plates and leaf to hopefully reduce pinch point on leaf pack and retain flex. Been working great! Although I will mention I did not have wheel hop before clamp either though...

I would say check into your pinion angle, like mentioned earlier in the thread... and if you can, aim it down just a hair more.
Also may just end up being your tires, and your local surface like to bounce...? who knows...
