Whats the best CAI for 6.2l

I can't answer that specifically, but I would look for one with a 4" intake tube.
Beyond that I would be looking into a tune. In Houston I'd give Wheatley a call for a street tune.
Next on your list will be a good set of long tube headers, and if you want more noise look into the 3.5" magnaflow muffler that will bolt in place of your factory muffler on the stock exhaust system. Keep it 3.5".

Surprised nobody recommends the S&B LINK
2nd fav the Airaid MIT "tube only" and OEM paper filter
lastly, I like paper filters for daily drivers. Seen a car come in with engine stumbling to stay running, poured a sand box out the intake tube, **** you not! replaced the filters checked the MAF and bam like new.

I like my Volant. Not sure if CAI is really beneficial with data to back it up on a bolt on truck. You need to tune it in conjunction with intake because the pcms are really sensitive to air flow changes. This change can cause transmission problems and will usually result in false MAF codes at WOT. The above were my findings with my Volant initially before I got her all tuned up.

Cant say if its the best, but the AirAid MIT tube with the factory box (modded) and a drop in K&N gave me an additional 1-1.5mpg and increased throttle response. Never did a dyno but my the seat of my pants tells me HP increased a little.

I think s&b is my top choice. Looks extremely clean, cheaper than k&n, has mileage increased by 1-1.5mpg, sounds good, and with a tune we dropped my 0-60 down to 6.3 sec in my awd escalade with the little 18's on it.
