Default What's a 2011 5.3 with 799 heads worth

Thinking about doing a 6.2 swap and was wondering what my motor might be worth, 799's with 78k for miles, I no 5.3's are a dime a dozen now days, just wondering. THANKS!

Up here the early GEN 3's are all in the $300-700 range depending on miles and the GEN 4's are well over $1,000 still with lower miles. I wouldn't think you'd have much trouble getting that for a newer used engine.

I have a 2013 5.3 with 243's, all stock with 100k miles and its still for sale, I can't even get $800 for it.....lots of tire kickers tho...it all depends on your local market, I will prob just end up keeping it for a project down the road

Thanks for all the replies, i was thinking around a grand or so, absolutely not one thing wrong with it, when i bought this reg cab that was my plan to do a 6.2 swap, i had one in a ext cab a while back with a verter, gears, and exhaust, and it was strong, thought it would be a cool swap and from what i've seen it's a pretty straight forward! THANKS!
