In the 2013 1/2 ton regular cab Chevy truck with a 4.8 V8 ? I just picked up one for a build up that I have been wanting to do for sometime. I have searched and have not came up with anything sold. I had a '07 with a 4L60 I think,and '12 6.2 truck had a 6L80. Any info would be great as I plan to swap in a built up 4L80 that should be good for up to 1000 rwhp.

behind the 4.8 should be the 4L60E.

 

Kinda what I was thinking or a 65E but I do not think it will hold up to a LSX454 and 24x15 wheels.

 

Not even close.

 

It might hold up to loading it on a trailer or moving it around the yard.. maybe..

 

Known to fail carrying a ice chest. excessive loading according to gm and not covered under warranty.
