Default Weight reduction and 1/8 mile time?

The last time I went to the track was in December to a 1/4 mile track.

My truck is a 2011 CCSB, 3.42's, 33's, 22's, tuned,intake, 2.5 60', with passenger, stereo, tailgate, and spare = 15.7 1/4 mile and a 10.1 1/8 mile
^ That's was the truck's set up in December.

I'll be heading back to the track next Friday and I'll be running again. This time without the following...

* Passenger - 250lbs
* Spare - 65lbs +/-
* Tailgate - 50lbs +/-
* Stock wheels on 33" tires (different than before, a lot narrower) probably 15lbs per tire lighter.
* No system - 50lbs +/-
* Me. I've lost 27lbs since then (I'm @ 160 now)

So probably roughly close to 500lbs +/- will be off the truck. What kind of time do you think the truck will run? I couldnt really burn out before, but the truck get's sideways now on dry pavement.

well depending on the air, the old saying 100lbs= a tenth, id guess a 15.0-15.2. i lost 80lbs by taking my spare off, 5655-5575lbs

I'll be weighing the ones I have on there now this weekend. My old 22's & 33's were right at 85lbs a piece.

If the wheels are 15 lbs lighter per wheel it will help a lot. Not only shaving off 60 lbs, but 60 lbs of rotating mass.

Cool! Maybe I'll get a decent 60' and possibly hit a 9.5.

I also had about a 95% full tank last time at the track. I'm going to try to get it under a 1/4 tank. With gas being about 6.1lbs per gallon that should shave at least 100lbs.

radio and speakers weigh 50lbs?
Does he have to worry about loseing fuel pressure with 1/4 tank?
I thought you can have problems with less then 1/2.
Make sure you poop 1st. Just kidding
